HISTORY

School started in the year 1922 from std 1-4, with a maximum of 30 students each.  students had the boarding facility also.  

The school followed co-education system of education up toclass 4.  Most of the students came from poor famillies.  

All the languages were given equal importance .  In1949 Hindi was introduced in 8th std and malayalam medium was started in same year.  During 60-62's there was 3 divisons for each classes.  In1962 LP divisions was seperated.school stood not only for the education but also for the allround development of the students.  

All the teaching staff stood together to attain the goal of ' BEST SCHOOL ' and thus

St; joseph's name stood in different walks of life from where the students look back to their aluminae with nostalgia.
